Grievance & Redressal Cell

The Grievance Redressal Cell (GRC) of Anand College of Education for Women, Jethuwal, Amritsar is constituted in accordance with the UGC (Redressal of Grievances of Students) Regulations, 2019. The Cell ensures a fair, transparent, and timely redressal of grievances to maintain a harmonious and student-friendly academic environment.

The college is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful atmosphere for all stakeholders.

Objectives
To uphold students’ rights and ensure justice in academic and administrative matters
To provide a mechanism for speedy redressal of grievances
To promote transparency, accountability, and fairness
To maintain a conducive and supportive learning environment
To prevent unfair practices and discrimination

Functions
To receive, examine, and redress grievances from students
To address issues related to academics, examinations, admissions, fees, infrastructure, and services
To ensure grievances are resolved without prejudice or bias
To recommend corrective and preventive measures to the management
To maintain confidentiality of the complainant

Procedure for Grievance Redressal

Grievances may be submitted in writing or through the suggestion/grievance box available on campus.
The grievance is acknowledged and reviewed by the Cell.
The Cell conducts meetings and hearings, if required.
A decision is taken and communicated to the complainant within a stipulated time frame.
If unresolved, the grievance may be escalated to higher authorities as per UGC regulations.
